We are passionate about high quality, safe and affordable out of school hours care that Sherpa Kids systems can provide and we will always ensure that this is the case. Sherpa Kids at Carrigaline Educate Together provides a flexible before and after school service within the school premises exclusively for the pupils of the school.  Services are provided to supplement the school day with running from 07.40am to school opening and from 1:30pm up until 6.00pm in the evening.  Services are flexible with drop off and pick up to fit with the requirements of working parents.  All services are delivered by fully qualified and garda vetted staff in a structured and engaging environment.

Before School Care:  7.40am – 8.40am Sherpa Kids Breakfast Club at Carrigaline Educate Together offer a light breakfast with structured play time to prepare for the school day.

After School Care:  1.30pm – 6pm (Senior and Junior Infants)  2.30pm – 6pm (1st – 6th Class) activities at our Sherpa Kids Afterschool Care at Carrigaline Educate Together  include a healthy snack, homework time,

Holiday Care : 8:00am – 6.00pm structured themed activities and plenty of fun time too.

Programme Manager – Priscilla McCann

Priscilla McCannPriscilla is a Programme Manager at Sherpa Kids. She is a mother of two children, and a Cork native. Priscilla is passionate about the care and education of children of all ages and has worked in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education since 2007, both as a Preschool Teacher and Afterschool Club Room Leader. Additionally, during the 2015-2016 academic year, Priscilla worked as a Volunteer Tutor at the Cork Life Centre, teaching Junior and Leaving Certificate subjects to students who have left the mainstream secondary education system.  After returning to education, in 2015 Priscilla received a B.A (Hons) in Montessori Education (3-12 years) from Cork Institute of Technology, earning the award for ‘Best Student’. Priscilla has also completed courses in areas of interest to her; including Special Educational Needs, Adult Literacy and Educational Psychotherapy. This training and experience has motivated Priscilla to continue working with children; striving to provide a fun and playful learning environment where all children feel included, respected and valued.
