Before  School Programme: 7.30am to 8.50am Monday to Friday

Our Before School Programme gives parents the opportunity to drop their children off any time after 7.30am easing the pressure in the mornings. Children at Breakfast Club in Good Shepherd National School have breakfast, playtime and ease into their day. We bring the children to their meeting point and supervise until their teacher brings them to class at 8.50am.

After School Programme: 1.30pm to 6pm Monday to Friday

Each week at Sherpa Kids After School Care in Good Shepherd National School we develop a new Programme of Activities. Every day we have a planned activity which keeps your children engaged, stimulated and having fun with their school friends. We have a weekly theme which all activities are based around. Activities include Art & Crafts, Music & Drama, Sports & Games, Cooking and Technology. All activities are developed with the age of children attending in mind ensuring our programme is age appropriate and engaging for all.  Our afternoon routine includes class collection, afternoon tea, homework, activity and free play.

Holiday Programme:

During school closures such as mid-term breaks  and Summer Holidays, we provide multi activity camps providing consistent, reliable care for pupils of

Good Shepherd NS Churchtown. Our camps run from 9am to 2.30pm (in place of the school day) with before camp and after camp care available.

All of our Programmes are tailored to fit with school schedules and family childcare requirements. Our service is a wraparound service supporting schools and families.

We are delighted that the Good Shepherd National School in Churchtown was the first school in South Dublin to welcome Sherpa Kids to our school.  Róisín and her Sherpa Kids team offer a fantastic, professional service to our parents and pupils.  It’s ‘One Stop Drop and Collection Service’ gives parents’ peace of mind that their children are being cared for in a setting they are familiar with and are experiencing fun, stimulating before and after school activities with their school friends.

Órlaith Veale, Principal of Good Shepherd NS, Churchtown, Dublin 14.
