Before School Care: 7.30am – 8.30am Monday to Friday

After School Care: 1.10pm – 6pm (Senior and Junior Infants) Monday to Friday

Monday to Friday: 2.10pm – 6pm (1st – 2nd Class) Monday to Friday

Holiday Camps: Camps will run from 8:00am – 6.00pm

We will be running a fun filled Multi Activity Summer Camp in Rochestown Educate Together for July and August. Summer Camp will run from 10am to 3pm and we will be providing Before Camp Care and After Camp Care throughout these camps.

Programme Manager – Jennifer Murtagh (Jen)

My love for children began when I was born into a family of 9 other siblings. Through the years I was greatly influenced by my mum who took care of other children in our home. When I reached my teenage years I began to grow my own babysitting clientele with mothers home help and through word of mouth I had approximately 13 families based in my local area that I babysat on occasion for.

Once I finished my leaving certificate I moved to Limerick where I completed a Fetac 5 in Childcare and Teaching Assistance. I gained practical experience in both a Montessori and a DEIS primary school. This course ignited my passion to learn the theoretical side of working with children.

I then completed a level 8 Bachelor Degree in Early Years ad Childhood Studies at University College Cork. During my studies I carried out work placement at An Naionra preschool in Carrigaline and St. Columbus National Girls School & Facility for Deaf Children.

After my education I began work at Up’s A Daisy Montessori and An Naionra.

I completed further courses while working, such as, Radiant Child Yoga Teacher Training, Train the Trainer, Crearive Mindfulness, Introduction to Play Therapy, Siolta and Aistear.

Assistant Manager – Lyndsey Smith

Hi, my name is Lyndsey. I started my career in childcare over 11 years ago. I spent 3 years in LileeCare Creche and went on to childmind a little boy for 2 years. I’ve spent the last 6 years in the creche of the RTE in Dublin caring for 1-2 year olds. I recently relocated to Cork and I am settling in great to Sherpa Kids. I really look forward to getting to know all of the children at Rochestown Educate Together.
