Programmes at Sherpa Kids Gaelscoil Charman
Our Before School Programme, now called ‘Rise Then Shine’, is the perfect start to your child’s school day! We set the tone for a great day at school with a range of energising activities and a nutritious breakfast. From enjoyable breakfast moments to calming morning meditations and brain-boosting activities, we ensure they head into school ready to embrace the day. Children can be dropped off by parents at any time during our before school session. At the end of the session, 1st to 6th class children are released to make their own way to their classes, while supervised by a Sherpa Kids staff member and Juniors are escorted to their teachers at the school’s designated drop-off point.
The fun continues after school with our ‘Stay and Play’ afternoon programmes. Children can dive into a range of engaging activities, building lasting friendships and creating memories beyond the classroom, all before heading home for quality family time. Junior children are collected from their teachers at the drop-off point by a Sherpa Kids team member, while children in 1st to 6th class make their own way to our programmes after school. All children must be signed out by an adult over 18 who is named on the child's registration form.
Our ‘Junior Hour Stay and Play’ programme offers a hassle-free solution for parents with children in Junior and Senior Infants. Our Sherpa Kids team will collect your child from their teacher at the designated collection point and provide a relaxing, engaging environment until older siblings in 1st to 6th class arrive, so everyone is ready to be picked up together. Children from Junior Hour are also welcome to join our Stay and Play sessions, and parents can book additional time if needed (subject to availability).
