Programmes at Sherpa Kids Portlaoise Educate Together National School
At Sherpa Kids, we create safe, enjoyable, and imaginative spaces for children during school breaks. Our Holiday Programmes give families peace of mind, knowing their children are having fun and engaging with peers in a dynamic, nurturing environment. Each week features a unique theme, offering a wide range of activities like baking sessions, arts and crafts, sports, wacky science experiments, and wellbeing exercises. Children learn, make new friends, and create lasting memories in every session. Join us for an unforgettable holiday experience filled with creativity, adventure, and endless possibilities!
Our ‘Junior Hour Stay and Play’ programme offers a hassle-free solution for parents with children in Junior and Senior Infants. Our Sherpa Kids team will collect your child from their teacher at the designated collection point and provide a relaxing, engaging environment until older siblings in 1st to 6th class arrive, so everyone is ready to be picked up together. Children from Junior Hour are also welcome to join our Stay and Play sessions, and parents can book additional time if needed (subject to availability).
The fun continues after school with our ‘Stay and Play’ afternoon programmes. Children can dive into a range of engaging activities, building lasting friendships and creating memories beyond the classroom, all before heading home for quality family time. Junior children are collected from their teachers at the drop-off point by a Sherpa Kids team member, while children in 1st to 6th class make their own way to our programmes after school. All children must be signed out by an adult over 18 who is named on the child's registration form.
Our holiday programmes feature weekly themes, ensuring that no two weeks are ever the same. Each week offers a variety of engaging activities for children to enjoy, including sports, baking sessions, creative arts and crafts, and much more. Beyond the fun, our programmes foster the development of essential social, emotional, and interpersonal skills that will benefit children throughout their lives.
