Sherpa Kids is proud to partner with A Lust for Life this summer, one of Ireland's leading mental health charities. Together, we will be partnering for our Move for Mental Health fundraising event on Monday, 18 August.

As part of this special initiative, children attending our Dublin Holiday HQ programmes will enjoy an exciting day at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), combining outdoor adventure, creativity and movement while raising awareness and support for children's mental wellbeing.

A Day of Fun: movement and wellbeing

Children will enjoy a fun-filled day of activities designed to promote movement, creativity and positive wellbeing, including:

• A guided tour of the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA)

• A picnic lunch in the beautiful IMMA grounds

• The Move for Mental Health Obstacle Fun Run at the IMMA Pavilion

• Holiday HQ Hero Activities, including Hero activities challenges and make-and-takes

• Adventure Programme activities, exploring Wellbeing Warriors through yoga, Super Sports and Creative Crafts, with the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative self-expression mural

The day has been designed to encourage children to get active, enjoy the outdoors, reduce screen time, build friendships and experience the positive impact that movement and connection can have on their mental health and wellbeing.

Supporting A Lust for Life

The Move for Mental Health event is also an opportunity to support the incredible work of A Lust for Life.

A Lust for Life is an Irish charity that provides free mental health education programmes to schools nationwide, helping bring mental health education into classrooms across Ireland and supporting children's wellbeing from an early age.

By taking part in this fundraising event, we're helping raise awareness and vital funds so even more children can benefit from these important programmes.

If you'd like to support this important cause, donations will be collected on the day. Every contribution, no matter the size will help A Lust for Life continue delivering free mental health education programmes to schools across Ireland.

Families are warmly invited to join us at the Irish Museum of Modern Art from 2:00pm to cheer on the children during the Move for Mental Health Obstacle Fun Run and be part of this special afternoon.
